A few superheroes among us braved the early morning chill and decided to climb Kaala Patthar in the wee hours of morning to get a breathtaking view `1. Rest who slept in got up and started for Pheriche around 9 am. The walk from Gorakshep to Thukla Dukhla pass was through moraines and narrow bridges across melted ice. We finally reached Thukla Dukhla for lunch and started on the second leg of our journey to Pheriche from there onwards. Going down the river, we turned around the hill to find ourselves looking at the most beautiful riverside valley.
