It is Sunday (3rd November). The sun is up. The team is up, too – high over the foothills we take two choppers and finally make Lukla. As we alight the aircraft the sharp frosty air burns our lungs –a taste of things to come. Only 3 hours trekking today, we must go slowly and acclimatize.
