Today Saturday (2nd November) was a day of frustration for the team. We were up at 0400hrs to take the early flight to Lukla. However, poor weather on the mountains prevented any flights out. After 11 hours holed up at the airport the team solemnly returned to their hotel. All the same, the spirits are high and there is optimism that tomorrow (Sunday) we can at last reach our destination – this time by chartering a helicopter (courtesy of Fish Tail Airways).
