We flew into Lukla today and it was not too terrifying aside drone the terrifying turbulence. Once in Lukla, we met our guide, Chhiri. After a short tea we began our hike. The hike was wonderful and peaceful. We stopped for lunch at a quiet restaurant in a valley and had some delicious food along with our first hit of hot mango. After a relaxing lunch, we continued on, eventually reaching Phakding. We relaxed the rest of the day, watching cows cross bridges and playing cards.
