Breakfast at around 8, and then we were off to today’s goal, Namche Bazaar. It was easy walking in the beginning, but then it went up to Tengboche were we arrived at 9.30 for a short break and a last view of Everest. From Tengboche it went down to Phungi Thanga were we had lunch for about an hour. Then it began going up again. Quite tough for the mind when you want to go down but all you see is a road going up, up, up. Dennis went ahead and waited for me and Jan at a viewpoint. All three of us had a little bit of problem with our stomachs after lunch, so the speed was a little reduced. Jan with his cold had it even worse. We arrived at Namche Bazaar at 14.30 and had our first shower in days. Soooo nice!!!! J We have both toilet and shower in our rooms. Luxury!! After shower we went out for some hot chocolate, coffee and cookies before going back to the lodge again. The evening was spent as all evenings in the warm dining room of the lodge.
