Day after the summit we could sleep longer. We got up for breakfast after 8. Nice! We left Pheriche at 9.30 heading down to Phangboche. Leaving Pheriche we turned our backs many times to look at “our” mountain, Lobuche Peak. After a few minutes it was gone behind a hill and we will sadly not see it more during this trek. As it was a hard day yesterday we only walked for 2 hours today to the village of Phangboche. The day was spent in the sun reading, sunbathing or just relaxing. Except for Dennis who had to go for a run! Crazy guy! J The afternoon was spent in the dining room and we had dinner at 19. As a surprise after dinner Mega international had fixed a cake for Jan who today has his birthday. Happy birthday Janne!!! We all stood up and sang for him including another group of Swedes that had been on another climbing expedition. Over and out for today. Tomorrow we head for Namche Bazaar.
